One of the very interesting problems with the super fund sites is the EPA sites are all waste piles, dumps, and land fills. There was no testing in areas like tank farms, perimeter fencing, flight line, cross island pipe line, bomb storage area, and around buildings. If those areas were tested it would be proven that Agent Orange was used. "TCDD is very persistent in the environment, but can be slowly degraded by sunlight" (ATSDR 1998, HSDB 2003). If testing was done on the north side of things like fuel tanks it would have soaked into the ground before being degraded. TCDD is like a finger print for identifying Agent Orange.
